What social media platform works best for lead generation?

 

Planning and setting up an effective process and platform for lead generation is essential to any business. As a business owner, you must keep in mind that not all social platforms and networks are equal with regards to lead generation capabilities and results will vary significantly. Not to mention it takes TIME.

Some businesses will see grand results on Instagram or Pinterest while others, on LinkedIn and Facebook. It's important to know where the prospective clients/customers you need to connect with are and how they are interacting and engaging - knowing this will give you a better chance and opportunity for exposure.  

Facebook makes sense for many businesses as it's the clear leader among other social networks, while LinkedIn and Instagram are close behind. Facebook has great ad options and tools for driving leads, while LinkedIn has more of a direct B2B approach, but let's not forget that recent research has shown that users on platforms such as Pinterest have a high intent to purchase.

So, asking which social networks are best for generating leads is largely a case-by-case basis as each business has their own unique way of determining what works best for them!
